Let there be no whims, we are a team and the overall end result is important. Each of us has a talent, but it’s important to come together here. Let there be no fear, tension and insults. There is to be no self-aggrandisement. We have to perform as a team. And so, my friends, we begin.
Summoning speech – Inspiration speech
Greetings, I am here to join you in the final preparations. We have two hours until the opening of the event. The decor is ready. Check the equipment to make sure it’s working so there are no problems. Review the script. Check the schedule. Have everyone go about their tasks. So, start before the event starts. Let’s show once again that we are a team, that we are organized, that we are creative, that we are successful!
Persuasive speech
Hello! I am standing in front of you with the task of convincing you to get organised as a team and prepare the program for the school’s Young Talents Celebration. This task has been assigned to us by the school management. We have one month. We have to meet the deadline. I know we are very busy. I also know that we are creative and we can work as a team, under stress and we will achieve results. Let’s divide the work into small groups and every three days get together and discuss what we have achieved. We have the tasks to prepare invitations, send them by email, make a script, prepare the certificates and diplomas, and the thank-you letters. Lily and Ivan are experienced, they are good at using software, they are creative. The second group of tasks are to prepare the hall, to have presenters at the event, they have a script, to rehearse. We have the talent, Mary and Peter will take on writing the lines and timing. We need to prove once again that we are a team, that we are creative and responsible. I am ready for coordination, the Facebook group is open for communication too.
